Somatic Vocal Healing is a transformative practice where ancient wisdom meets modern healing techniques to create a powerful journey for the mind, body and spirit through our own voice. Through vocal play and toning, we explore our body’s knowledge and gently bring our own voices into their full expression.
Sessions are tailored to your unique needs and intentions, whether you seek relief from stress, physical discomfort or emotional imbalance. Vocal vibrations can transcend linguistic barriers to communicate with our innermost places, penetrating deep into our beings, clearing blockages, dissolving tension and restoring balance to our energetic system.
Some experience it as ‘vocal yoga’ or ‘sonorous massage’, others experience profound self healing and liberation.
As your facilitator, it is my job to hold space for whatever information might come and help you navigate your own body’s technology for self healing. My first concern is your healthy connection to your voice. I see every voice as fully beautiful and am interested in you experiencing the power that it holds for you.
One does not need to be a “singer” to benefit from vocal sound healing. In fact, beautiful and melodious tones are less common. As we sound together, you are given full agency to go as lightly or deeply as you wish.
SESSIONS
Pain and Tension Alchemy (30min- $111 / 60min- $222)
In this session we explore points of physical or emotional pain that need to be addressed and shifted. We understand that sound healing is not a medical solution, it is an energetic support in the healing. We discuss and identify where the body is asking for attention, discover the sounds of the pain itself and then explore an energetic shift through sound and visualization.
Exploration & Intention Setting (30min- $111 / 60min- $222)
In this session we would discuss the intention you are wanting to set in your life, whatever that may be. We scan for any blockages in energy around that and then create the intention through sound and visualization.
Chakra Balancing (90min - $333)
In this session we move through the whole chakra system, one by one, in an exploration of what energies are being stored there. We will explore vocal expressions that release tensions or create new vibrational shifts. Most people experience a surprising amount of information as we set our attention to each chakra. Both expected and unexpected emotions or realizations can arise. If the energy is tense or painful, we explore how to ground that energy through sound and then replace it with the energetic shift that is desired by the body.
Group Vocal Sound Healings (length, location and price TBD)
Group sound healing can be incredibly powerful and liberating as an environment fills with vibrations coming from multiple bodies. We can use any and all of the modalities described above in a workshop setting.
